One of the facts not stated in the Aug. 11 editorial “Free to ‘like’ ” is that in order to comment on a page in Facebook, it is necessary to click “like” regardless of your sentiments toward the page. I have liked a number of pages just to argue against the ideas put forth or to learn what the enemy is up to. But I agree that if inarticulate speech is secure, then most everything on Facebook should be protected speech.
