According to The Post [“Orange jubilee,” Sports, March 31], Syracuse’s smothering defense at the Verizon Center on March 30 held Marquette to the “lowest output in a regional final in three decades, since San Francisco managed that many against UCLA in 1973.” Please tell us: To which three of the four decades was the author referring? Or does The Post believe a decade lasts 13 1 / 3 years, rather than 10?
