Among the prospect for Mitt Romney's Republican vice presidential pick Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are widely unknown and not very popular at this point in the campaign. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is better know and more well liked among the Republican base.
This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone May 30 to June 3 2012, among a random national sample of 1,009 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by SSRS of Media, Pa.
