Barack Obama got a lift in favorable ratings, especially among Democrats, after last week's Democratic convention. Mitt Romney's ratings remain locked in place.
This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone September 5 to 9 2012, among a random national sample of 1,028 adults, including users of both conventional and cellular phones. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by SSRS of Media, Pa.
