Deb Lindsey for The Washington Post; glassware from Crate and Barrel

Spirits Nov 20, 2011

Perhaps the most popular Italian aperitivo cocktail, this mix of low-proof Aperol and prosecco is light and perfect before a big meal, which means it's the ideal first drink to serve your guests on Thanksgiving.

Ingredients
  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 ounces Aperol
  • 2 ounces prosecco
  • Splash club soda
  • Slice of orange, for garnish
