Uma Anandakrishnan serves this drink at the beginning of the meal. She has experimented over the years to find the right recipe; this is her version, one that she says is exceptionally smooth and creamy. She also makes it as a special snack at her children's school. You can make this the night before the party.


Servings: 5 cups
Ingredients
  • 2 cups plain yogurt (do not use low-fat or nonfat), such as Stonyfield Farm Brand
  • 2 cups canned mango pulp, such as Ratna brand
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes or crushed ice

Directions

Combine the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
