This is a variation on a cocktail called the Odd McIntyre. It uses applejack instead of the brandy or cognac that the original calls for. The applejack creates a subtle but fruity aroma and a light but tart taste.
- 3/4 ounce Lillet Blanc
- 3/4 ounce Cointreau
- 3/4 ounce applejack
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Orange slice, for garnish
Fill two-thirds of a cocktail shaker with ice and add the liquid ingredients. Stir vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
