This sno-cone "cocktail" is simple enough for kids to make themselves. Blend equal parts lemonade and pineapple and orange juices, add a splash of cranberry juice cocktail, then pour the mixture over shaved ice.

For added fun, serve in paper sno-cone cups.

Make Ahead: The juice mixture needs to be well chilled.

Servings: 8
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • Generous splash cranberry juice cocktail
  • 8 cups ice


Combine the pineapple juice, orange juice, lemonade and cranberry juice cocktail in a pitcher. Refrigerate until well chilled.

Working in batches, process the ice in a blender or food processor fitted with a grating disk; this will approximate shaved ice. Use an ice cream scoop to divide and pack the ice among individual cups or paper sno-cone cups. Drizzle each serving with the juice mixture.

Serve right away.
