President

President Obama was expected to win New Mexico again, and he did. Although the Land of Enchantment was once a highly contested state, a growing Latino population has given Democrats an edge in recent years.

Senate

Rep. Martin Heinrich (D), who had maintained a solid foothold over former congresswoman Heather A. Wilson (R), won the Senate seat held by Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D), who decided not to run for a sixth term.

House

Bernalillo County Commissioner Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) won election to Heinrich’s 1st District seat, joining her cousin, 3rd District Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (D) in Congress, according to the Associated Press.
