The Network

Barrasso is married to Bobbi Brown, former state director for his office. Barrasso inherited much of Thomas' staff, including Brown, when he was tapped to fill the vacant Senate post. The two met at a Republican National Convention about 25 years ago and dated for about five years before becoming engaged in 2007. Both have children from previous marriages.

Despite his strong conservative views, Barrasso is known for congenial relationships with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. Sens. Ted Kaufman (D-Del.) and Jon Tester (D-Mont.) listed the Wyoming senator of one of their favorite Republicans to work with.
