Majority oppose missile strikes on Syria
Nearly six in 10 oppose U.S. missile strikes against a Syrian regime accused of using chemical weapons. Support increases by 10 percentage points if U.S. allies join the effort. Read related article.
This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone Aug. 28 to Sept. 1, 2013, among a random sample of 1,012 adults. The results have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
