Jun. 8, 2012 - After a firestorm of criticism for dismissing Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox, Nixon felt obliged to defend himself from charges he was acting like a common criminal. In an hour-long question-and-answer session with 400 Associated Press editors, Nov. 17, 1973, he declares "I'm not a crook. I've earned everything I've got."
