Parents council’s picks for best and worst TV shows

These television shows are some of the worst recent decency offenders, as chosen by the Parents Television Council, which monitors programs for profanity, nudity, sexual content and violence.

Of “The Playboy Club,” the PTC writes: “Now, ever schoolchild and teenager has the opportunity to see sleazy sex clubs portrayed as glamourous, and the life of a skimpily-clad, sexually harassed waitress-cum-stripper portrayed as exciting and fun.” The show, however, was cancelled shortly after its debut.
