This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone Oct. 23-26, 2012, among a random national sample of 1,771 adults and 1,295 likely voters, including landline and cell phone-only respondents. Results have a 3.5-point error margin for likely voters. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by Abt-SRBI of New York.
