President Obama taps Denis McDonough as chief of staff

President Barack Obama named deputy national security adviser Denis McDonough as his new White House chief of staff on Friday. McDonough, a longtime Obama advisor, will succeed Jack Lew, who is taking the helm at the Treasury Department.
