The two plans

While sticking points remain between the proposals to raise the debt ceiling advanced by Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) and House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio), analysts who have examined the two side by side say they are more alike than different. Here is a comparison of the plans, based on work by the Center for a Responsible Federal Budget.
