Jeff currently serves as Counsel and Senior Advisor for Cybersecurity to Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Joseph I. Lieberman. Jeff is the Committee’s lead staffer handling S. 3414, the Cybersecurity Act of 2012. In addition to cyber legislation, Jeff handles infrastructure protection, other cybersecurity matters, and oversight of the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining the Committee, Jeff served as Director of Legal Affairs at the Project on National Security Reform, working on constitutional and statutory issues associated with national security reform. In addition, he served as a Legislative Aide and Special Assistant to former Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and practiced law in New York City at a major law firm. Jeff has written articles on various legal and national security issues for publications such as the Christian Science Monitor, the Huffington Post, and the New York Law Journal.
