Fed orders Goldman, JPMorgan to fix capital plan


March 15, 2013 7:03 AM EDT Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase, the world’s biggest trading firms, must submit new capital plans to regulators to address weaknesses in their planning processes found by the Federal Reserve. The central bank approved 14 other banks’ proposals. Capital plans submitted by Ally Financial and BB&T were rejected, while American Express had to revise its submission to win approval.
