ISM Data Gives Reason for Caution, Rupkey Says


July 2, 2012 1:20 PM EDT Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, discusses the Institute for Supply Management’s June manufacturing index released today. The ISM's index fell to 49.7, worse than the most-pessimistic forecast in a Bloomberg News survey, from 53.5 in May, the Tempe, Arizona-based group’s report showed today.
