John Legend loves...math?

- John Legend is a Grammy Award winning musician, but he’s also a lover of math and science. Legend spoke with Washington Post Innovations editor Emi Kolawole about the role math and science played in his education. Legend was in Washington D.C. on April 18 to celebrate the winners of Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow contest -- part of an effort to increase interest and enthusiasm in math and science among American high school students. Five high schools were selected in February as grand prize winners to receive $100,000-worth of technology from Samsung, Microsoft, the Adobe Foundation and DIRECTV. ()
