Alyssa Rosenberg to join The Post as new pop culture blogger in Opinions

We are delighted to announce that Alyssa Rosenberg will be joining The Washington Post’s Opinions section as a pop culture blogger.

One of the smartest pop culture critics writing today, Alyssa joins The Post from ThinkProgress.org, where she has been the Features Editor and has her own blog on culture. She is also the television columnist at Women and Hollywood, and has been a columnist for the XX Factor at Slate and a correspondent for The Atlantic.com. Before joining ThinkProgress, she was editor of Washingtonian.com and a staff correspondent at Government Executive. Alyssa grew up in Massachusetts and holds a B.A. in humanities from Yale University.  Her work has appeared in The New York Times, New York, The Daily Beast, The New Republic, Salon, and many other publications.
