A brief history of Wizards uniforms

The Washington Wizards unveiled new uniforms on May 10, harking back to the old Bullets. Over the years the franchise has displayed a wide variety of looks.

In 2003, the Wizards (including Jerry Stackhouse and Michael Jordan) wore retro uniforms reminiscent of those worn during the 1978 championship season.

After the team changed its name from the Bullets to the Wizards in 1997, it staged a fashion show at Union Station. Juwan Howard took off his warmup jacket to reveal the new home uniform.

Gilbert Arenas was one of the models when the Wizards introduced new alternate road uniforms in 2006. This uniform was "retired" in 2009.
