May. 15, 2011 - D’Anthony Ellis is a senior at Anacostia High School who is considered a baseball prospect. He played for his school's team for three years, but the team disbanded due to an insufficient number of eligible players this year. With the help of his coaches and some city administrators, including the mayor, D’Anthony was allowed to play for Cardozo and will finish his high school baseball career there.
