D.C. sports fans

Sports fans in any city often ask themselves, what kind of sports town do we live in? The Post set out to answer that question in an in-depth survey of D.C. area residents about their attitudes toward sports and their local teams. Only 17 percent said they had no interest in sports. Of the more than 80 percent who did, their interest level broadly broke down into four distinct groups. We call them megafans, hometown fans, social fans and drive-by fans. Read related article.
