Skinny
T.C. Williams remains the favorite in the region, and the Titans return three players with major experience. Senior guard Kerman was a full-time starter and, according to Coach Julian King, will be charged with “stepping up big-time in every aspect of his game and being more of a vocal leader.” Huggins and Byrd will also be big factors. . … South County might be the biggest threat to the Titans, and the Stallions return All-District forward Johnson, who averaged 14.9 ppg. last season. …
W.T. Woodson lost plenty of experience; three starters in its opener had never played varsity before, and the Cavaliers will lean on Brandon Stepka and brother Thomas Stepka to lead the way. The two combined for 30 of the team’s 58 points in the opener. … West Potomac will be led by seniors Brandon Pressley (8.2 ppg.) and Bryant Fultz (9.6 ppg.).
