Skinny

Montrose Christian brings back several key players and added plenty of firepower to a team that finished No. 1 in The Post and won last season’s National High School Invitational. Anderson (Virginia) is one of the area’s most electrifying players, while Carrera and 6-10 Kevin Larsen are an imposing tandem inside. Perhaps the Mustangs’ most notable newcomer is Wainwright, who is from suburban Kansas City.. . .

National Christian should be strong again, led by Davis and 6-8 junior F Zacarry Douglas, who have scholarship offers from Seton Hall. F Deandre Thomas, a 6-4 senior, has an offer from Wagner.. . .

Riverdale Baptist brings back several players, including G Keon Hill and F Milan Durant.. . . Takoma Academy opened with a victory over McNamara as senior G Desmond Stanbeck scored 18 points... . . Don Bosco Coach Frank Simpson thinks he has a special player in 6-7 junior F Emmanuel Omogbo.
