After sharing the league title for the past three years, Sidwell Friends is in position for the outright title, thanks to the presence of returning fourth-team All-Met Hart. The Villanova recruit averaged just under 20 points per game last season and has some help in Hillman, a sharpshooting four-year starter. . . .

Led by Beck and junior Jalen Barnes, Maret returns all five of its starters, providing much-needed experience in a league filled with parity. . . . Potomac School boasts a balanced attack with four players in Samuels, Jalen Broom, Chris Martin and Matt Lazris who can reach double figures on any night. . . . Anderson and Cole Herdman form a formidable one-two punch for Flint Hill.
