Behind standout Miller, 4A semifinalist Eleanor Roosevelt will feature one of its tallest lineups in years with four starters over 6-4. The defending South Region champion Raiders return six players, three of them starters. Akil Charles, a 6-foot senior, will shift to point guard after recovering from a preseason broken elbow. . . . Last season, C.H. Flowers was young but reached the region title game. The Jaguars return most of their starters, led by Green (13.5 ppg). . . .

Wise, which won last winter’s regular season title, returns standout guard Shivers (12.4 ppg). Former Friendly coach Rob Garner takes over the Pumas.. . . Suitland, which dropped only one regular season conference game last season, returns two starters and could push the top teams with Peters and 6-4 senior forward-center Daquan Page.. . . Jermone Graham and Antonio Williams will split the head coaching duties for Bladensburg .. . . Oxon Hill, led by junior guard Sam Harris, will also feature a new coach, his father Sam Harris.
