Skinny

Coming off three straight region titles and back-to-back Maryland 4A runner-up finishes, Wise must reload after graduating high-scoring guards Eliqua Brooks and Khadija Gibson. The Pumas begin the season with one player who has played significant varsity minutes in senior Charnell Ferguson, a C.H. Flowers transfer. . . . C.H. Flowers, which suffered two of its three losses last winter against Wise, has a proven scorer in Proctor (17.4 ppg) and the size to dominate the paint with three players listed at 6-foot or taller. . . . With Durrett, 5-foot-10 junior Marshauna Butler and several promising transfers, Bowie enters its first season under Chris Ferguson with hopes for its first state playoff appearance since 1992. . . . Eleanor Roosevelt (14-9) graduated just two seniors and could surprise with an experienced group paced by its top scorer Simmons.
