Orioles great Earl Weaver: 1930-2013

The Hall of Fame manager was notorious for his explosive temper and celebrated for his many victories in 17 years at the helm of baseball’s Baltimore Orioles. He died on a team-sponsored Caribbean cruise. He was 82.

The plebes climb to the top of the lard-covered 21 foot high monument and remove the 'dixie cup' hat at the top replacing it with an upperclassman's hat.
