DATE: Dec 7, 1960 CREDIT: J.W. Stinchcomb??Most of the footings have been completed and a portaon of the convrete shell of Washington's new stadium on E. Capitol st. just east of the D.C Armory is already in place. The construction program calls for the completion of the stadium in time for next years football season. It will be used by the Washington baseball team in 1962.
