North Carolina: The Tar Heels do not have the offensive firepower of the 2009 national champs — one of the century’s best teams – but Coach Roy Williams has enough future pros to win his third national title.
Kentucky: Coach John Calipari has taken three schools to the Final Four, but two appearances have been stricken from the NCAA record books. With Terrence Jones and several star freshmen, Calipari can raise another banner, one he hopes remains.
Ohio State:The Buckeyes have the requisite talent surrounding Jared Sullinger and plenty of motivation after last season’s premature NCAA tournament exit. Coach Thad Matta is on the short list of best coaches not to have won a national title yet.
Syracuse: Coach Jim Boeheim’s fourth Final Four appearance would be bittersweet for the rest of the Big East, which in the coming year or two will bid farewell to one of the league’s longtime pillars.
