Stephen Stromberg is a Post editorial writer, specializing in energy, the environment, public health and other places where federal policy and politics intersect. He first joined The Post in 2006, writing about local and national policy for the editorial page, before he spent 2007 and 2008 covering the presidential election and the Great Recession for The Economist. Stromberg rejoined The Post opinions section in 2009 as deputy opinions editor for digital before moving back into full-time editorial writing.
