Steve grew up in Greenwood, Mo., which is just outside of Lee’s Summit, Mo., which is just outside of Kansas City, Mo. He graduated from Marquette University in 2008, and has worked for the Washington Post ever since. He’s covered mostly college football and basketball during his time at the Post, but has occasionally covered assignments in pro football, basketball and baseball.
