Tracy Grant joined the Post in 1993 as an editor in the Business section. In 1999, she became the newsroom’s first Web editor in charge of getting breaking news from Post reporters on this new-fangled thing called the world wide Web. She has also been editor of Weekend, the Going Out Guide and KidsPost. She lives in Silver Spring with her teen-age twin sons.
