Use Your Handwriting review: Let your fingers do the writing

Let’s be honest: Typing with thumbs just isn’t fun. Sometimes, you want to use your own handwriting to take notes instead of the keyboard on your mobile device.

Enter Use Your Handwriting, which lets you do exactly what the name promises. Essentially a to-do app, it lets people write on the screen with their fingers and uses a rendering engine to make your letters look cleaner and clearer.

The to-do portion of the app is fairly straightforward: You can check things off by dimming or deleting them. You can also color-code your notes.

Although the app has a fun concept, its user interface is a little tricky to catch on to and the notes aren’t always easy to read, even if you’re writing legibly. This app is a good idea but requires some patience to get to love. Free, for iOS.
