Transportation Construction Inspector| Region: Washington, DC

Description:
McKissack & McKissack, specializing in transportation, program & construction management, environmental engineering, architecture & interiors and planning & facilities management, has immediate openings for Transportation Construction Inspectors experienced with bridge and/or roadway inspection. Successful candidates will be assigned to bridge and/or roadway construction projects located in Washington, DC, Virginia or Maryland. The following minimum qualifications are required:

Three or more years experience in the bridge and/or roadway construction industry.

Specific experience in bridge inspection and/or roadway inspection.

VDOT and/or MDOT certification or ability to become certified required.

Experience in general field inspections and quality control programs.

Familiarity with project scheduling.

Estimating skills a significant plus.

Strong oral and written communications skills.

Previous experience on public projects desired.

Computer literate.
