The Solution Architect team is part of the Marketing and Sales organization and responsible for designing technical solutions to complex problems during the capture and proposal process. This Business Solution Architect position is full time and based in our Fairfax, VA office. US Citizenship required.


This Business Solution Architect will be responsible for the following:
  • Lead the development of diverse Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber Security solutions for customers within the Federal Government.
  • Ensuring that IA and security technical solutions leverage industry best practices, designing for excellence while minimizing the total cost of ownership.
  • Provide full life cycle support to the business development process, including: vetting customer requirements, presenting IA and security solutions to customers and SRA senior management, negotiating with partners and vendors to determine a compelling solution for customer needs.
  • The Solution Architect will also develop the basis of estimate for the technical proposal, including staffing plans, bills of material, performance measures and risk assessments.
  • 6-9
    Bachelors
  • Solution Architect should possess one or more of the following certifications CISSP, GIAC, CCNP, CCSP, CCIE, MCSE.
  • Requires experience with Government certification processes such as DIACAP and C&A.
  • working knowledge of security technologies, architecture, networks (routers, switches, VLANs, etc.) and of operating systems security for Windows and UNIX environments.

For our retired military population, SRA provides a TRICARE Supplement benefit in lieu of the medical PPO. SRA will even reimburse the TRICARE Prime annual enrollment fee to eligible employees. SRA also offers an employee assistance program and administers a flexible spending account that pays for uninsured health expenses with pre-tax dollars.

    SRA offers free disability and life insurance, as well as business travel accident insurance.
    Retirement Savings

    SRA encourages employees to contribute a tax-deferred portion of their income to a 401(k) plan, including mutual funds managed by Fidelity Investments. SRA pays all administrative costs. Company contributions to an employee’s 401(k) account are subject to a three-year graded vesting schedule.
