| Position Requirements | |||||||||
| Positions the company to prototype, design, fabricate, integrate, test and deliver hardware and integration projects based on STG's industry leading capabilities in systems engineering and integration. Responsible for the identification, qualification and pursuit of business opportunities specifically focused on Rapid Prototyping and Systems Engineering and Integration for DoD and select Civil Agencies. Primarily focused on tactical business development activities that will produce task orders for production of hardware systems, integration of technical systems, or logistics program support to DoD depots. Will be responsible for securing and initiating teaming strategy and teaming agreement negotiations. Will support the development and execution of call plans specific to bid opportunities. Will coordinate the internal corporate support requirement between Contracts, HR, the Proposal group, Pricing, Purchasing and Facilities, and will support proposal development and responses to government solicitations. Will coordinate with operations personnel as required. Required to translate the customer requirements to a specific opportunity and capture strategy. Will work closely with MARCOM to produce messages for ads/tradeshow use. | |||||||||
| Qualifications | |||||||||
| Experience required: 2+ years of government contractor experience in business development related activities. Experience in proposal efforts, to include writing and solution development. Experience Desired: 5+ years of government contractor experience in business development related activities. Experience in defining customer requirements, researching customer budgets for project viability, developing capture strategy, and assisting in-house subject matter experts to build solutions that address customer needs. Supporting proposal efforts, to include writing and proposal management. Prior exposure to government logistics operations and / or DoD industrial depot activities or military experience in ordnance, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus. | |||||||||
