JOB_DESCRIPTION: Software Engineer fluent in C, C++, and Java who will focus on the development of simulation tools and the interfaces between these tools. Development work supports the verification and validation of existing simulation tools. Duties include: 1) Develop interfaces between software applications to support testing of real-time simulations. Conduct verification and validation testing of existing software interfaces between application software to ensure proper operation. 2) Investigate and employ new Object Oriented software design and implementation techniques to enhance interoperability of models in a large simulation environment. 3) Develop customized software applications that support design of experiment and analysis of alternatives processes. 4) Develop customized software applications to enhance the productivity and visualization of software models and simulations. 5) Document software metrics and designs using formal software architecture models & configuration management best practices.
