Overview:

Experienced and qualified embedded software engineer able to understand and contribute to the architecture and design of a large embedded platform and perform as a key contributor to the development and troubleshooting of the software for an embedded platform based in a tactical military handheld radio.



Job Duties:

Key contributor to a team of embedded developers writing OO software for a tactical hand held radio. Candidates will also be asked to participate in the estimation of new activities and status of ongoing activities.

Job Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting and challenging role you must have:

• U.S. Citizenship. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• BSCS or BSCE or MS level same.
• Requires experience with large multiprocessor embedded platforms where code size exceeds 100k lines of code. Excellent C++ and OO skills are required. Experience with CORBA middleware is highly desirable. Knowledge of time boxed iterative development with agile techniques such as test driven development a strong plus. Experience with the Rational toolset and proficiency with UML preferred.
