DescriptionKey Role:
Provide radio-frequency (RF) communications and wireless networking expertise to assist DoD with acquisition recommendations that will shape the future of US Military communications. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Evaluate new and modified waveforms, conduct independent research on RF and other waveform characteristics, analyze test plans and results, facilitate technical meetings with stakeholders, write executive-level technical summaries, and deliver presentations in support of waveform disposition recommendations. Interact frequently with senior Military officers, DoD civilian executives, and leading industry experts.
QualificationBasic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with the design, management, integration, or deployment of Military communications systems, including WNW, SRW, and EPLRS
-5 years of experience with evaluating highly technical information related to RF communications and waveforms
-Secret clearance
-BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), or the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
-Experience with networking concepts, including network management, routing, mobile ad hoc networks, netcentric warfare, and dynamic spectrum access
-Experience with commercial or Military satellite communications (SATCOM)
-Experience with airborne networking, including Link-16 or MIDS-J
-MS degree in EE or Systems Engineering

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
