GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Director of Physiology is responsible for the administrative oversight for the Cardiology, Neurology, Rehabilitation and Respiratory Therapy service lines.The Director is responsible for new program development and will have a strong community presence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to, expanding and directing operations to achieve service lines, departmental and hospital goals/objectives.The Director of Physiology recommends, develops and implements hospital programs policies and procedures.

Masters degree in Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration or a related field is required (e.g. MBA with healthcare background, or Healthcare Masters with financial background).Healthcare experience is required.Clinical experience is preferred in Cardiology, Neurology, Rehabilitation and Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy.
