DescriptionKey Role:
Work within Booz Allen's emerging technology center and be a part of a team that works to identify and evaluate new Web technologies and their potential use for the firm. Work in a fast-paced, agile development model and routinely collaborate with team members and other staff to create new Web applications from the ground-up. Help the Web-development team generate and evolve a wide range of intranet sites and Web-based applications and prototypes. Collaborate with graphics designers to create visually interesting and engaging interfaces. Support the emerging technology center's overall mission to allow for access to cutting edge research in the academic and vendor communities.
QualificationBasic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with building database-driven Web sites and Web-based applications
-3 years of experience with databases, including MySQL and MSSQL
-2 years of experience with coding in PHP
-2 years of experience with using JavaScript client side scripting
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with creating design and requirements documents
-Experience with Scrum or another form of the Agile development process
-Experience with other Web programming languages, including Cold Fusion (CFML), Active Server Pages (ASP), Java, and Perl
-Experience with Adobe Flash, including ActionScript and Flex
-Experience with .NET, Microsoft SharePoint, and the creation of SharePoint modules
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
