Fibertekis now actively recruiting for Senior Laser Scientists, Engineers and Program Managers to join staff in our headquarters facility in Herndon, Virginia.

Job Overview:   

Fibertekis a leader in fiber laser & solid-state laser systems and has immediate opportunities available for Scientists, Engineers and Program Managers capable of taking on the responsibility for providing the next generation laser, lidar and EO sensor systems deployed in terrestrial, aircraft,UAV and space platforms. Fibertek has numerous programs utilizing fiber laser systems including ranging, direct detection & coherent lidar, free-space communications as well as high power directed-energy programs.

We are looking for individuals with demonstrated experience and accomplishments in one or more of these areas:

·        Aerospace electro-optical systems

·        Highpower fiber laser systems

·        DOD/NASA flight hardware programs.

·        Working with customers

·        Directing and driving projects/programs

·        Designing,and/or building experimental prototype and flight capable solid state and highpower fiber laser and/or lidar systems.  

Must be permanent resident or U.S. Citizen, prior or active security clearance helpful.
