The BMC Remedy AR System ITSM 7.x Administrator II for the USAF BMC ITSM system will be responsible for the administration of the Remedy AR System ITSM 7.x server objects and data. The right candidate will demonstrate ability to manage BMC Remedy ARS forms, active links, filters, and associated objects. In addition, this individual will have a working knowledge of the Change Management application. This individual must have proven reliability and dependability along with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. The location of this position will be at Langley AFB. The responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: · Administration of BMC Remedy 7.x Action Request System forms, active links, filters, and associated objects · Administration of BMC Remedy 7.x ITSM suite applications · Subject Matter Expert for Remedy 7.x ITSM Change Management; will be responsible for answering questions or demonstrating the Out-Of-The-Box features and functionalities. · Configuration of the Remedy 7.x ITSM Change Management application · Knowledge of Remedy 2.x CMDB and ITSM 7.x Asset Management · Provide backup to Administrator I for administration (creation, modification, and archival) of company, support group, location, user data, and other duties as required; will be responsible for resolving data discrepancies (e.g., duplicate records, personnel details updates) · Remedy installation, upgrades, and patching · Remedy integration with third party Commercial-Off-The-Shelf software that will be integrated into the production USAF BMC Remedy ITSM system · Developing/implementing forms, active links, filters, escalations, dashboards, menus, guides, reporting, and other related components · Knowledge of other products such as Analytics, Flashboards, Migrator, and SLM desired, but not required. Requires BS/BA degree. Requires 5-8 years experience. The right candidate has the following qualifications and experience: · 3 to 8 years experience with the BMC Remedy family of products · Active Secret Security clearance · Knowledgeable in U. S. Government and USAF policies and procedures for certification and accreditation of computer systems · Knowledgeable in U. S. Government and USAF policies and for data processing of sensitive information · Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office required · TCP/IP knowledgeable · Experience in SQL Server or equivalent database · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Capable of working well with others in a team environment. Able to work with minimal direction and fosters a collaborative effort amongst his colleagues and his customers. · Organizes time effectively and determines the right resources needed to effectively perform job assignments. Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or be eligible to acquire a Secret Clearance. |
