Position Overview
The Associate Scientist I/Production Coordinator: Cell Banking will coordinate, prioritize, and schedule work activities to ensure efficient processing within the Cell Banking department. While complying with all cGMP regulations and documentation practices, the successful candidate will initiate and perform investigations in support of operations; manage and coordinate GMP material inventory; perform revisions of existing SOPs and FMDCs; schedule non-routine activities, maintenance, and projects; and perform technical writing as necessary. Additionally, the selected candidate must display proficiency in various computer programs for advanced and routine tasks such as generating technical specifications, cell bank reports and expansions, ordering supplies, and generating and investigating deviation and out-of-specification reports.

Education Requirements
B.A./B.S. in a scientific discipline with 1-3 years of experience, A.A. with 4-6 years of experience, or the equivalent knowledge and business experience, is required.

Experience Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following: rudimentary knowledge of manufacturing processes; the ability to create and follow procedures; extensive knowledge of applicable computer programs (Word, Excel, Oracle Applications, Oracle Discoverer, Trackwise, etc.); strong written and oral communication skills; and the ability to train others in relevant tasks.
