NGS seeks an Operation System Engineer who is passionate and enthusiastic about learning and working in an exciting team environment! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Provides expert, specialized systems administration support assistance to government clients Monitors day-day operations of the enterprise application server environment Collects and analyzes server statisitics and recommends short and long term resolutions to issues before they become critical Plans and executes system backups and archival Cooordinates external vendor assistance to support systems as required Troubleshoots system and user problems in the enterprise environment If you are looking for an exciting & challenging opportunity, apply today!

Requirements
Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent plus at least two years of professional experience Qualifications: 1. 2+ years of practical enterprise operations and maintenance support in a project of similar size/scope 2. 2+ years experience in enterprise help desk operations 3. 1 year experience in MS Windows 2003 or latest version server and domain administration 4. 1 year experience PVCS Tracker and Remedy Action Tracker 5. Expert knowledge in Remedy Ticket Management System Security Clearance: Required (DHS) Citizenship: US Citizenship required *************** No Agencies Please ***************
