Construction of Ethiopia’s Grand Renaissance Dam is causing anxiety 1,400 miles downstream in Egypt. A former Egyptian water minister warns that damming the Blue Nile, which accounts for most of Egypt’s water supply, could reduce the flow of water to the Nile Delta by about 25 percent.
