Argentine train slams into busy station during morning commute
Officials say a packed train has slammed into the end of the line in Buenos Aires’ busy Once station, killing 49 people and injuring hundreds of morning commuters. It is Argentina’s worst train accident in decades.

Rescue workers extract a passenger from a commuter train that crashed into the Once train station at rush hour in Buenos Aires. Transport Secretary Juan Pablo Schiavi confirmed that 340 people were injured and that passengers were still trapped inside after the train's brakes failed.
